Housewarming 2006

The undergraduates held an Alumni Housewarming on September 23rd to show off the newly reopened Chapter House. The day began with a Realty Corporation Board meeting and a Chapter Advisory Board (CAB) meeting. With the business meetings finished, the undergraduates accompanied the alumni on tours of the house. The pictures below show off many of the Theta Chi decorations, newly renovated house, and furnishings.

The house tours were followed by lunch and time for recognizing the many people who participated this past summer with renovations and over the last five years with preserving the House. Those recognized included:

Alumni attending summer work parties: Dave Barnett, Tom Bertellotti, Tom Boone, Terry Diskey, Steve Dum, Rob Fitting, Rich Franscisco, Warren Hoffman, Greg Imboden, Tom Knox, Kevin McIntosh, Steve McMahon, Bill Mullenholz, Mike “Boog” Powell, Jeff Rector, Rick Sanders, DJ Sirota, Myles Smith, Jeff Townsend, Tim Jax ZS, and Jereme Grinslade DK, received an Appreciation Certificate.

Special recognition plaques were presented to contractors - Randy Deutsch, Kevin Beatty, Dan Stewart; Webmaster Rob Higley; Terri Lanier Bardach Awards, Diana Holdman, Greek Accounting; Ray Vanlanot Sr., parent; campus friends - I.U. Student Activities Office, Lt Steve Fiscus & IUPD, Dr. Richard McKaig; Theta Chi IHQ and Grand Chapter; alumni - Tom Knox, Myles Smith & Warren Hoffman; staff - Teresa Arnold & Liz Faubion.

The Theta Chi Realty Corporation Service Plaque was presented to Jim McCluskey ’54.

The National Fraternity’s Appreciation Award was presented to House Director Elizabeth Faubion.
